Grundfos Announces Sales Release of PACO LCS Split-Coupled End Suction Pumps

The Grundfos PACO-brand LCS split-coupled end suction pumps are now available for sale in the United States.

“No other player in the North American market offers a split-coupled end suction pump,” said David McLean, vice president of Business Development for Grundfos Commercial Buildings. “The PACO LCS offers end users a unique value proposition that will be an automatic differentiator.”

The price-competitive LCS is ideally suited for liquid transfer in chilled water, condenser water, pressure boosting, district heating and cooling and air-conditioning applications. Its compact design provides hydraulic performance equal to that of a frame-mounted, long-coupled design with the added benefits of:
A smaller footprint – The LCS features a footprint 35 percent smaller than a frame-mounted design.
Ease of service – The design allows for rapid mechanical seal access without motor removal.
Faster installation – No baseplate grouting or coupling alignment is required and the lower weight reduces hassle during installation.
Available in 30 different models, the LCS pump boasts a horsepower range up to 125 HP in 3500, 1800 or 1200 revolutions per minute and is available for six-week delivery.
