Heating and Ventilation (1922)

Heating and Ventilation was written by John R. Allen and J.H. Walker and published in 1922. "This book is offered as a text-book upon the subject of heating and ventilation for us in the engineering and architectural schools. It is also believed that the development of working methods of design and the including of the various tables and charts make the book of some value as a handbook for the practicing engineer and architect."

It contains information about heat losses from buildings, different methods of heating, hot-air furnace heating, steam heating, radiators, pipes, fittings, valves, hot-water heating systems, temperature control, air and its properties, ventilation, fan systems, air conditioning, and central heating.
