Armstrong Fluid Technology has introduced a fully modular energy transfer system integrated with Armstrong’s Envelope platform for optimized selection and operation. Featuring heat load ranges from 56 to 840 tons, the new System Envelope - Energy Transfer Station (SE-ETS) uses a modular, packaged design to reduce lead-time, provide the lowest first cost, and reduce pump energy use by up to 50%.
Optimization of performance starts at the selection stage, with comprehensive system performance maps that deliver the best possible selection based on requirements for temperature, redundancy, flow and pressure. Patented, predictive algorithms for heat transfer controls, Sensorless pumping and Envelope technology work together to deliver reliable performance and enhanced system efficiencies. Integrated controls support demand-based operation and integrate seamlessly with BAS systems.
Other system features include:
Announcing the new solution, Brent Ross, Global Director, Product Management noted, “These new energy transfer stations will change the way HVAC systems are sized, selected and operated, resulting in significant savings. Everyone involved in a project, including contractors, engineers, developers and maintenance professionals will benefit from the design innovations.”
