Eckstein's and Busby's Patent Circulator was the first circulator. This document is from Charles Hood's A Practical Treatise on Warming Buildings by Hot Water, Steam, and Hot Air, Fifth Edition, 1879. The first edition of Mr. Hood's book appeared in London in 1837.
