Whittier Radiators

Download pdf (3.9 MB)

Thanks to Frank "Steamhead" Wilsey for sharing this one with us. He writes, "The first page is from Susan Reed Stifler's book, The Beginnings of a Century of Steam and Water Heating, published in 1960. It shows that the Whittier was patented in 1868, and the H.B. Smith Co. made all Whittiers starting in 1876. The latter pages are from the H.B. Smith catalog of 1896, showing the ratings for the different Whittier sizes and also the leg height options."
