Grundfos Showcases Energy-Efficient Heating, Boosting Products at ASPE 2014 Booth #1816 to feature Hydro MPC BoosterpaQ, MAGNA3 and LCSE
The Grundfos booth at the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) 2014 convention and exposition will offer attendees the opportunity to learn about a number of market-leading products, including the Hydro MPC BoosterpaQ, MAGNA3 and LCSE.
Reliable, easy to install and extremely energy efficient, these products allow customers and end users to demand more from their commercial buildings.
“As demand for efficiency increases, building operators are zeroing in on the untapped potential of ultra-efficient pumps like the Grundfos Hydro MPC BoosterpaQ, MAGNA3 and LCSE,” said David McLean, vice president of Business Development for Grundfos Commercial Buildings. “We welcome our customers to demand more from their commercial buildings because it is what they deserve; to have improved system performance, reduced energy consumption and increased efficiency, reducing their lifecycle costs. Our customers should demand more from all their suppliers.”
Hydro MPC BoosterpaQ
Based on the highly efficient Grundfos CR pump range, the robust, compact Hydro MPC is a fully integrated pressure-boosting system designed to handle even the most difficult pumping situations with ease and accuracy. The intelligent CU 352 controller optimizes pump operation based on demand, making the Hydro MPC the most energy-efficient solution for pumping applications with varying flow needs.
MAGNA3
The Grundfos MAGNA3 is an energy?optimized circulator with a variable-speed electronically commutated motor (ECM) that uses a patented integrated logic algorithm, AUTOADAPT™, to learn the varying energy use patterns of an application over time, enabling the software to automatically determine the lowest possible operating efficiency point to meet ever-changing demand. This adaptive intelligence cuts power consumption by up to 85 percent when compared with conventional circulators.
LCSE
The Grundfos LCSE is a split-coupled end suction pump system ideally suited for new commercial HVAC/R applications and retrofits. With one sole supplier for pump, system controller, standard asynchronous motor and variable frequency drive, the LCSE uses integrated, intelligent technology to adapt precisely to current demand. The LCSE also features a footprint 35 percent smaller than that of a frame-mounted design.
In addition to the Hydro MPC BoosterpaQ, MAGNA3 and LCSE, booth #1816 will highlight the fire protection line from Peerless Pump, part of Grundfos’ family of product brands.
