What about maintaining system performance? Magnetic separators that require disassembly for cleaning are notoriously messy. Not with the XF’s “clean hands'' process. To purge the system of impurities, turn off the circulator, open the blowdown valve, remove the pull-out magnet stem from the dry well, and rotate the top knob to brush the internal mesh filter free of debris. The XF is available in 1”, 1½” and 1¼” NPT, press and sweat connections.
