Rheem Manufacturing Company, a leader in the HVAC and water heating industry headquartered in Atlanta, reinforced its longstanding commitment to veterans and the local community through its sponsorship of the VETLANTA Q3 Summit on Sept. 8.

Rheem’s support made possible the free attendance of hundreds of veterans, transitioning service members and military spouses who connected with business leaders, hiring managers and veteran-owned businesses to explore opportunities that support veterans in Atlanta.

Ben Pellegrini, vice president and deputy general counsel at Rheem Manufacturing Company and a U.S. Army veteran, spoke at the event. According to Pellegrini, veterans play an important role in the trades community. He noted that many enter the field after gaining technical experience in the military and bring leadership, discipline and other valuable traits to the workforce.

For Rheem, supporting the veteran community reflects a commitment that extends throughout the organization. Veterans serve across the company, from its manufacturing facilities to its Atlanta headquarters and executive leadership team, including CEO Chris Peel.
