NIBCO INC. introduces its 585HP (High Performance) Bronze Ball Valves, representing a giant leap in innovation in the ball valve market. Designed for commercial and industrial applications, the lead-free 585HP full port ball valve line allows for easier installation, adjustability, and long service life.
The patented laser-welded construction eliminates the threaded body to body-end connection allowing for a higher operating pressure up to 1,000 CWP and 150 SWP, and operating temperature up to 250° F.
The patent-pending top works features an easily reversible handle providing flexibility for on-site modifications, large accessible packing nut, and triple-sealed stem. These elements combine to make a valve that is easy to install, durable, and dependable all backed by a 10-year, 125 percent limited warranty.
Available in sizes ranging from ½” to 2”, the lightweight, North American-made 585HP valves come in several configurations including threaded, solder, and press. Options include 316 stainless steel trim, a handle locking plate, an extended handle, NIB-SEAL® handle or a stainless-steel handle. All 585HP valves have the following listings and certifications: MSS-SP110/145; IAPMO/ANSI Z1157; NSF/ANSI/CAN 61-8 Commercial Hot 180° F; NSF/ANSI 372; ICC-ES PMG-1558 and ASME A112.4.14/CSA B125.14.
