Taco Names Rick Mayo as Western Regional Trainer
Cranston, RI-based Taco, Inc. recently named Rick Mayo to the position of Western Regional Trainer for residential technology.
Mayo currently lives with his wife in the Salt Lake City area.
Mayo previously served with Triangle Tube/ACV for almost six years. He began his tenure there as western regional sales manager, though became a product and applications instructor more recently.
Mayo also served as a product trainer and field technician with Uponor for almost seven years. He also worked, chiefly as a product specialist and trainer for a leading national wholesaler for more than 13 years.
He began his work in the plumbing and heating industry in Anchorage, AK as an apprentice to a contracting firm in the spring of 1977, then moved into sales and training. Also in Alaska, Mayo helped develop the radiant heating and snow melting industry while working closely with installers and engineers at a time when the radiant heat industry was enjoying a Renaissance.
