A patent for H.G. Ashton's Improvement in Lock Safety Valves for Steam Boilers.

(Courtesy of Rick Ashton, great great grandson of Henry G. Ashton who started the Ashton Valve company in 1872. The company was built on the popularity of his patented "pop" safety valve.)
