E.D.R. (Equivalent Direct Radiation) is the term that we use to measure modern radiators and older steam radiators. In this video, Dan Holohan tells us about E.D.R. and includes some key takeaways for understanding steam heating systems. He also shares the story of The Carbon Club and how boiler manufacturers met in 1899 to establish standards that would make our industry safer.
